Setting up Vipps Payment Gateway
Vipps is one of Norway’s most widely used mobile payment applications. It enables users to send and receive money instantly, make online payments, and pay for goods and services at participating merchants.
As a payment solution tailored specifically for the Norwegian market, Vipps supports fast, secure, and convenient transactions for customers within Norway.

Step 1: Navigate to Payment Settings
- Log in to your eCommerce admin panel.
- Go to Settings → Payments.
- Click on Add payment method.
Step 2: Select Vipps
- If your store currency is supported, choose Vipps from the list of available payment providers.
- If Vipps does not appear, refer to the “Vipps isn’t available with your store currency” section below.
Step 3: Enable the Payment Method
- Under the Enable payment method section, toggle the switch to activate Vipps.
Step 4: Add Integration Credentials

- Enter your test Secret Key in the Sandbox input field.
This will allow you to test the Vipps payment flow at checkout.
