Payment methods at eCommerce Store
Online payment gateways are third-party services that securely process online transactions. They act as intermediaries between the customer and the seller by validating, authorizing, and transferring funds to the seller’s bank account.
You can manage all payment methods under: Settings → Payments
Supported Automatic Payment Methods
Your eCommerce platform supports a range of popular global and regional payment providers, including:
| Stripe | PayPal | Cashfree | Razorpay |
| Paystack | Flutterwave | Mercado Pago | Mamo Pay |
| Yoco | Nets Easy | Vipps | Mollie |
| Epoint | Iyzico | Payriff | Crypto Payments through Nicky |
Once enabled, these payment gateways allow customers to complete their purchases using credit/debit cards, wallets, and other online payment methods (based on the provider’s capabilities).
Manual Payment Methods
Manual payment methods are processed outside the online store. Customers do not enter card details or use online payment systems during checkout. Instead, they pay using offline methods such as bank transfers or cash.
You can find manual payment options under: Settings → Payments
Cash on Delivery (COD)
Your eCommerce store includes Cash on Delivery as a built-in manual payment method.
Cash on Delivery (COD) allows customers to pay at the time of delivery. Sellers can provide detailed instructions for how COD will be handled (e.g., exact cash required, delivery areas, courier instructions, etc.).
Learn more about enabling Cash on Delivery in your store.
Payment Gateway isn’t available in your Store
If you see the error message: “isn’t available in your store”, while adding a payment gateway, it typically means your store currency is not supported by that payment gateway.
Most payment providers only work with specific currencies. If your current store currency is incompatible, the gateway will not activate.
How to resolve this Issue
To fix this, update your store currency to one supported by the payment provider:
- Go to Settings → General in your admin panel.
- Click on Standards and Formats.
- Select a compatible currency from the dropdown list.
