How can I delete or pause my eCommerce store?
Pausing your eCommerce store
Pausing your store is the best option if you want to temporarily stop receiving orders while keeping your products, settings, and design intact.
When paused, visitors will see a maintenance page instead of your storefront.
How to pause your store
- Log in to your eCommerce admin panel.
- Go to Settings → General → Maintenance mode.
- Enable maintenance mode.
Your store is now paused. You can disable maintenance mode any time to resume normal operation.
Deleting your eCommerce store
Deleting your store permanently removes your account and all associated data. This action cannot be reversed, so proceed carefully.
Note: If you are on a paid plan, you must downgrade to the free plan before requesting deletion.
Steps to delete your store
- Log in to your admin panel.
- Navigate to Settings → General → Maintenance mode.
- Make sure your store is set to maintenance mode to prevent new orders.
- Downgrade to the free plan if you are on a paid plan.
- Submit a deletion request to the support team (as account removal is processed manually for security reasons).
A representative will verify your request and permanently delete your store.
Which option should you choose?
| Action | Best for | What happens |
| Pause store | Taking a break, updating products, temporary closure | The store is not accessible to customers; all data remains. |
| Delete store | Permanently stopping business | All data removed; access disabled |
