How to add a product
Adding products is one of the most important steps in setting up your online store. Your Products page in the admin panel allows you to easily add, edit, and manage product details — including price, variants, stock quantity, images, and descriptions.
Steps to add a new product in your store
- From your eCommerce admin account navigate to Catalog → Products on the left-hand menu.
- Select “Create Product” to open the product setup form.
- Add product title, product description, upload product image/ images, add product selling price and discount price (If any), add inventory to display product with “Add to Cart” button button in your storefront.
⚠️ If you leave inventory blank, the product will show as “Out of stock.” - Select the appropriate “Collection” to organize your products for easier browsing.
- Choose “Published” to make the product visible on your store, or “Draft” to hide it while editing.
- Click the Save button at the top right corner to publish or save your product.
Optimize your product page
Add the following details to make your product page informative and searchable.
| Basic Information | Enter the product title, description, images, and price to show customers what you’re selling and its cost. |
| Variation | If the product has options (e.g., color, size, or material), add each variation with its own image and attributes. |
| Stock Quantity | Specify available stock so customers know if the item is in stock. |
| Collections | Assign your product to collections (e.g., “Summer Sale”, “Best Sellers”) to help customers browse easily. |
| Tags | Add relevant tags or keywords to improve product search results. |
| SEO | Optimize meta title, description, and image names with keywords to improve visibility in search engines. |
